I enjoyed my peaceful stay, especially the delightful breakfast and the beautiful, spacious room. It was fascinating to hear the stories about the history during my visit.

Rich historical context, charming interior design, intimate and private gardens

The driveway is riddled with potholes!!! It can be a frustrating hassle navigating the unclear entrance and finding the hotel at night. Inconsistent heating left me uncomfortable during the cold nights!!!

the room was comfy, clean and warm with hot water and a nice view into the garden where i saw red squirrels! loved the breakfast too, with good service from the owners who were helpful with local tips. walking around the garden and woods was really enjoyble. parking was a breeze too. would defo stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming place. The family room was spacious and perfect for us with a baby. Breakfast was delightful, especially the fresh fruit. The hosts were incredibly friendly, truly making us feel welcome and at home.

For dads, it would be great if there was a communal fridge for picnics.

We had a lovely stay with comfy beds and a beautiful family room connected by a door for the kids. The outdoor garden was perfect for relaxing, and the BBQ facilities were a nice touch for family dinners. Although we found the Wi-Fi a bit unreliable at times, we still enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others! 🌟

The room I stayed in felt dated and somewhat neglected, with dusty surfaces and spider webs that left me needing antihistamines. Limited breakfast hours between 9-10 a.m. didn’t vibe well with our early plans, and the chilly temperatures inside during less favorable weather made it uncomfortable—secondary double glazing would certainly help with those drafts.
